Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

This is my favourite book of all time. I started reading the Harry Potter series when I was about 7 years old, and I have read them all many times each. I love them all, but this one sticks in my head the most. I love the way it makes me feel, and the sort of darkness and gloom of the book. It also has its funny moments, and is just overall wonderful.

From top to bottom: Jeremy McKinnon (A Day To Remember), Winston McCall (Parkway Drive betchezz), Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel), Mitch Lucker (Suicide Silence) and Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon).

Weekly Playlist: Mk. 2

I seem to be moving steadily towards a more hardcore outlook. Now don't get me wrong; I do enjoy hardcore music. It's great to dance to, and the brutality is just immensely enjoyable. However, I'm sad that I'm not listening to what I used to, especially the triple J type stuff.
I'm thinking it would be cool for me to update this every Saturday, because I love Saturday's, and am rarely home, so it's my challenge to myself to try post a new playlist every Saturday. Here goes!

Sorry You're Not A Winner-Enter Shikari (again, I know)
Johnny Sniper-Enter Shikari
Animal-Miike Snow
Bruises-Chairlift
Boneyards-Parkway Drive
I Am The Nightrider-Confession
That's Not The Goose-Confession
The High Road-Broken Bells
Carbomb-The Acacia Strain

Wow, it's amazing I can't think of anything I listen to. But don't worry, I'll listen to more music!!!

Lemon, Lime and Bitters

I do love lemon, lime and bitters. I don't even know why, it's just wonderful, and looks awesome :)

Sam and Annie

From Life On Mars (British series of course, the US version paled in comparison). My favourite fictional couple :)

Weekly Playlist

I've seen people around the internet post playlists of songs that they like and great albums they have heard, and rank in them in order of which is the greatest to them. I really wanna do that, but I never have enough money to buy CDs, and I barely have as much music as I'd like. So, until I'm musically educated enough that I am able to compile lists of the greatest albums I've heard, I will just post the songs I have been listening to lately. Hopefully you like them too, and then we can have musical interests in common :)

In no particular order:

Sorry You're Not A Winner-Enter Shikari
(Ain't) Telling The Truth-Bluejuice
Rowboats Vs Oceans-The City Alight
Some Of The Places I Know-Gyroscope
Opposite of Adults-Chiddy Bang
Romance Is Dead-Parkway Drive
Undercover Martyn-Two Door Cinema Club
You're Too Cool-The Zolas
Love In This Club (Usher Cover)-Jamie's Elsewhere
The High Road-Broken Bells
Mr Highway's Thinking About the End-A Day To Remember
The Past Should Stay Dead-Emarosa
Party and Bullshit in the U.S.A.-Red Flag Productions
Pray For Plagues-Bring Me The Horizon
Life On Mars?-David Bowie

For some reason at the moment, I'm not really enjoying music as much as I used to, but these are definitely songs that I am liking, so you should check them out!

New Doctor

Many people believed casting someone as young and with as little acting experience as Matt Smith as one of sci-fi's most famous icons, The Doctor, was a great mistake. However, after the screening of Matt Smith's first episode as the eccentric Doctor, he proved them how wrong they all were.
After crashing to Earth, Matt Smith stepped out of the TARDIS with a confident swagger that could make no one doubt that he was born for the role. Smith spent most of the first episode trying to come to grips with the "new body", and satisfy all it's cravings (fish custard anyone???).
The central plot of Smith's first episode, was him meeting a young girl Amelia Pond (sounds just like a fairytale). She invites him in to help with a mysterious crack in her wall that speaks to her (Prisoner Zero has escaped!). Smith suddenly must leave, as the TARDIS is about to take off, but he promises the girl he will be back in 5 minutes. Upon his return, Smith finds the house different and is confused. He is knocked out by a vibrant young police officer, who turns out to be Amelia Pond (now known as Amy). She tells him he is twelve years late, and he is shocked. After apologies and anger, Amy finally decides to trust the Doctor after showing her a room in her house she has never seen before (housing the aforementioned Prisoner Zero)
The Doctor then faces a new threat; The Atraxi. The Atraxi are the prison guards who were Prisoner Zero's gaolers. The Atraxi tell Prisoner Zero to vacate the human residence, or the human residence will be incinerated (the human residence is the Earth!). After an effort to bring Prisoner Zero back to capture, the Doctor's screwdriver is destroyed, leaving him with no screwdriver and no TARDIS, and with only 20 minutes left to save the world!

Matt Smith's performance in 'The Eleventh Hour" is most definitely memorable, and looks to be the start of something wonderful to come.
